MULLED CONCORD GRAPE APPLE CIDER!
Переглядів 2742 роки тому
Hey everyone! Here's a unique little recipe for fall - more interesting than spiced cider, not at all boozy like mulled wine - a perfect in-between! You can also put in some orange peel or slices of orange...

Wah❤❤❤❤wah❤❤❤❤
Thank you saved me lots of time
I'd really l8ke to know if you can get a fermentation with that dehydrated scoby.. Technically you should be able to IF it really does have live culture in it. Please try it.. my curiosity is torturing me 🫣
Yes wow❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😍😍😍😍😍🤔
Video starts at 8:40
Thank you!
Sounds like h pylori
Didn't work for me ... I went up to 3 minutes. Maybe the time of year you buy your peaches makes a difference?
Just come to the point and stop that endless blabber girl!
I love store bought kombucha but couldn’t stand the stuff I made myself. I finally got to try Jun a couple of days ago and loved it, I have a SCOBY coming in a few days. Hopefully my second ferments work with this.
NOPE DONT BUY AT WALMARTS TARGETS.ECT.
Cosmoprof?
Now that is over 28 for both 😅
My first time using a jun scoby. The starter tea was super cloudy and only got worse when I fermented. It was super sour 1 cup of honey didn’t get it sweet at all. I tasted after 6 days and it was super sour and more cloudy and gave me a headache and nausea. Should I throw it out? Please help!!!
It's been 4 years. What's the update
This was very helpful. I have a standard freezer like the one on your left and I talked with my boyfriend about splitting a quarter cow with him. Looks like I will be upgrading my freezer (we are carnivore so it’ll be full of just the cow).
That scoby was crazy!! Wow!🎉🎉🎉
Thank you ❤
I have the blue one and i don't khow how to sharpen it does somebody know how to?
Great video! I love Hannah's Continuous Kombucha, easiest way to ferment!🍾🍷🥤🍻
I’m all in!! This was good!!
This is an incredible idea. Thank you for showing us this and teaching us how to do this this. Things are just TOO EXPENSIVE now for Middle Class, so we've got to save money like this.
I’m canning peaches from my tree. Seems like 1000 peaches! This is so hard for me to do.
delcious
Good info. Thank you very much. BTW, you used the word "like" gratuitously 243 times the span of 16:49. Just say'n.
Kale is a superfood. Your very beautiful
Just green kombucha ?
What happened to this chick? The last video on her channel was 2 years ago and it seems like she just disappeared
Don't worry, I'm still alive! Just had a crazy couple of years - but hoping to come back to YT soon!
Thank you so much for the very informative video. I’m a new subscriber after this video. I see you haven’t posted anything in the last couple years. Hope everything is OK.
Thank you so much for watching and your kind words of concern. I'm ok-ish! Lots has happened in the last couple of years...hoping to get back to YT soon-ish!
I’m so glad to hear that you’re ok-ish :) May the Lord help you be ok period :) take good care
Can I transition a green tea kombucha into a jun Scoby?
I've never done it and am not sure if it will work, but if you cruise through the comments, I believe there are people here who have mentioned doing this and it worked. Let me know if you try it and if it works!
Are you sure you didnt become iron deficient if you were craving water and ice?
Oh I'm sure I was (and still am) iron deficient. Even though I take iron supplements, I definitely have an anemia issue. Slowly trying to figure this out, but man, it can be quite the challenge navigating health issues!
Your swatches were so small!
$4.75 is fairly high.
I love gold liste shampoo and conditioner way better than signature and then dry texturized is amazing for volume
If you have a Costco membership, keep an eye out for Oribe - I recently bought the liter-sized black bottles of the shampoo/conditioner for a much better price than it's normally sold for.
@@crazykenz4203 really!? Thank u 🙏
I thought those worms don’t live in cold climates
omg yes the scent is the best, it actually smells like angels and flowers hahah I am in love too
Oribe products have the BEST scent!
The celery is back at Costco. WF it's $1.48, looks decent.
$1.48 a pound?! That's not that bad, especially for WF! Whenever I get to a Costco, I will buy 10 packs of celery (sadly I don't live near Costco anymore).
Great job explaining all of this...
i dont think it s a food sensitivity some of it could be psychosomatic too.. stress can impact a great deal on the body it s no joke specially if you're naturally an overthinker .. but mainly and really i believe your microbiome colonies in the gut are poor and can barely process anything so eat more yogurt with probiotics if that doesn't go then there's other options kombucha or sauerkraut or kimchi or sour milk there s also this little probiotic capsules you can get OTC at any pharmacy always consult with your doctors first tho i personally make sauerkraut at home great option
MM Anthony williams the source of all the benefits of drinking CJ strongly recommends avoiding eggs dairy and fermented foods in particular as well as msg flavourings, gluten. maize, corn and soy products. plus his heavy metal detox smoothie is the excelerator pedal for health recovery. A key piece.
I've been learning a lot about psychosomatic stuff and also working to release tension/trauma from the body. Now after a few years of celery juicing, the only real food sensitivity I seem to still have is gluten (still get nasty migraines from it). Buuuut I also have endometriosis and had a major surgery for that, which coincidentally also seemed to reduce a lot of my food sensitivity issues. So maybe it was all just so much inflammation in my body making everything freak out. I can now eat yogurt again, so have been eating a fair amount of that, and also have probiotics on the way (just had a consult with someone to really fine-tune reproductive and thyroid hormone function). Thanks for your comment!
I avoided eggs and dairy for many years, but recently started adding them back in for protein. So far I'm not having any reactions and I think my body was a bit weak from removing a lot of protein sources. I still incorporate a fair amount of MM, but found doing it too closely just felt too rigid and anxiety-inducing. Thanks for commenting, though!
So I did the research on as a whole the reason why it’s so concentrated is because they wanted to make it affordable and the only water in it like in their formula is when they source the actual ingredients to use in their products the reason they did this is because they want you to actually use the water that’s in your shower instead of loading up their products of water like a lot of other brands do because a lot of other brands half of their product is water, so they just feel like it’s a waste of money to the consumer and not only that but it helps them be more sustainable when making their products and it creates less waste so it’s one of their ways that they’re trying to help the environment
Yes, I think this is great! Why pay for water (and also have extra plastic packaging waste) when you could just have a more concentrated shampoo?
This is an amazing mask !
So good! Sadly I haven't had it for a few years, but oh it was sooo lovely and smelled so great!
I started here after listening, but decided i needed to tailor this whole thing into something i do for me. SO i took my juicing and made it into souping :D Now I have a soup habit I can't kick.
Ok so are you making celery soup?! Tell me more!
My fave is to add cantelope for the second brew it tastes like champagne mmmm
Oohhhh yum I don't know if I've ever used cantelope in any of my brews!
Or'y'Gone 🤦 Sorry, it's just that us Oregonians always cringe when people from other parts of the country butcher the name of our state in that way. It's a pet peeve shared I believe by everyone from our state that we find amusing and confusing. So amusing and common in fact that we actually have bumper stickers with the incorrect spelling like I started this little rant with. 😂 But, aside from twice butchering the name of my state, this was a great video, very informative. I'm a newbie to kombucha brewing and now I'm interested in trying my hand at making Jun. Just as soon as I'm able to stop giggling long enough to go buy some honey. 😂
Hahahah I'm so sorry I butchered your state name! In Wisconsin, there actually is a city called Oregon and it's pronounced how I said it in the video (haha and I lived there, so it was just how I was used to saying it!). But yes, I know how proper Oregonians get annoyed by folks like myself butchering the name - SORRY! Hahaha ok stop giggling and go buy some honey!
They gave you a split quarter. Brisket comes from the chest of a cow and sirloins come from the back. That's not a common technique unless you specifically ask for it.
Ok so is that a good thing!?
@@crazykenz4203 It's all just preference honestly. If you like brisket or sirloins, then yes. 😂 The cuts in between those are the ribeye and the strip loin.
Since you do buy so much to juice, why not use the cut off bottom and put it in dirt and let it grow. You may not grow enough for awhile but it is better than throwing it away.
I end up composting it. Sadly my life has been a bit all over the place and haven't had a consistent place to plant it. But yes, that would be the ideal solution! (I compost all of my produce scraps - gosh I hate the idea of throwing away those big celery ends...if I'm at a friend's house and they don't compost and I see all of that stuff go in the trash, I die a little inside).
The big book of Kombucha recommends against refrigerating scobys. Thanks for the video!
Where did you go, Kendra? Love your recipes
Hiiii! Thank you! It's been a wild couple of years, but hoping to get back to YT soon...
At around 14:00 you mentioned you use raw honey but in the Big Book of Kombucha page 180 there is a warning to not use raw honey because it may compete with the culture. Did you have a problem or any experience you can share about that? Is the book being "too cautious" but it works? Thanks for the video!
Nope, I've never had any issues with that. I mean, I've never gotten honey straight from the comb, but I will buy local raw honey (or the raw honey at Costco) and it has never been an issue. The main issues I've had with brewing are 1 - using super chlorinated water, which has killed the culture, and 2 - taking too long of a break and not feeding it and getting mold (did a video on this, it's nasty).
Have you tried the heavy metal detox smoothie thats reccomended after the celery juice?
